Description

Jesmonite Pigments are aqueous dispersions compatible with Jesmonite composites. When dispersed in Jesmonite materials they offer excellent chemical stability and heat stability.

This sample pack includes a sample-sized bottle of all our Jesmonite liquid pigments (estimated 10g). Pigment shades included are: Black, White, Bright Red, Bright Yellow, Coade, Terracotta, Green, Red Oxide, Yellow Oxide, and Blue. 

Adding approximately 2% of pigment will produce a strong, saturated colour. If lighter colours are desired, simply reduce the addition rate until the preferred colour is achieved. Pigments can be mixed with one another to create a custom colour of choice.

Jesmonite Pigment sample pack

The pigments are all great colors and mix in easily. The only problem was the green. It would not come out of the bottle and when it finally did, it was kind of hard and clumpy. But overall, a great product. It would also be helpful to have bottles labeled. Hard to tell the difference in some of the dark colors.

The green pigment is certainly more viscous than the others. Thanks to feedback from Maykers like you, we're in the processes of updating the packaging for the sample pigments which should make working with the thicker pigments a bit easier.

Nice assortment of colours

The assorment of colours is great. Unfortunatly, not all the bottles have labels, so I cannot identify certain pigments for purchase at a later time. I learned form a Jesmonite Facebook page that one of the pigments I liked (and had a label) has been discontinued. Too bad.

The colours that were discontinued by Jesmonite are Terracotta and Coade, but we have some good news! We will be producing these colours and will have both available for sale in the next month or so. Can never have too much!

I only have sample sizes of the jesmonite pigments. I haven’t bought full sizes yet. Last time I ordered, I saw that Mad-Mayker had them on sale, so it was a no brainer for me to order! The way you can color mix the primary colors to make beautiful new colors for your projects makes it so worth it!

Absolutely AMAZING! Love them so much! A little goes a long way because they are so pigmented which is a plus, definitely will be repurchasing them over and over again!
